It is estimated that more than 8,000 cases are detected every year in china. Trichinosis is parasite born diasese and its host is pig. So undercooked pork meat usually invite this infection. Thanks to stringent policy of USDA, United States has almost eradicated Trichinosis.

So be careful when visiting China and eating pork. I need to check mortality and case fatality and mortality rate of Trichinosis.
